ABSTRACT

Just as the country has recently dealt with the increase in COVID-19 and monkey pox cases, another dark cloud of "Tomato flu/ Tomato fever " loomed the skies of the nation. As of 24 august, 2022, 100 kids mainly below the age of 5 have been reported showing symptoms of the flu. Another state of Odisha, suspected similar infectious etiology in 36 cases out of which 26 Children were below the age of 10. This endemic viral illness has triggered an alert to the neighboring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, along with the entire nation at large. The wrath of this disease is not just restricted to India but crossing borders. Tang, et al reported a case of a 13-month-old female child and her 5-year old brother based in United kingdom with similar etiology. Through this report, we aim to alert the frontline pediatricians, who are most likely to come across and manage such daunting cases with these non-specific clinical features in their routine clinical practice across the globe. Early and extreme preventive and surveillance measures must be undertaken to prevent substantial loss in public and private sector Mehta et al.

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has raised unprecedented challenges for the progressive education community universally. One crucial challenge is the engagement of advanced learners in pandemic times. Their academic interest is retained, their performance does not decline, and they get access to appropriate resources in time. This article will elaborate on the identification mechanism and the categorization of the students grounded on their comforts and performance. The pedagogical framework is developed for advanced learners by focused interventions such as providing exposure to industry-oriented problems, international virtual events, online courses and software, career counseling by industry leaders, and preparation for higher education. In this article, we are discussing obligatory interventions and their outcomes. Adopting blended learning is becoming a boon to learners by effectively using online resources. Working with these advanced learners, the teacher can directly converse the precise space where the scholar needs the support. In this research, student-centric methods are used. A pedagogical framework is proposed for aerospace engineering students. Advanced learners are categorized into specializations based on real-time data analysis such as aerodynamics, propulsion, space technology, and avionics. Analysis suggests that the categorization and targeted pedagogical intervention yields better student performance outcomes. Based on this study, we started offering specialization-based courses at the undergraduate level in coming batches.

ABSTRACT

We all are facing an immense health calamity due to the speedy transmission of Covid-19. People are dying due to this deadly virus. Physical contact with an affected individual can transmit this disease. World Health Organization (WHO) issued many ways to avoid infection of Covid-19. In communal locations, wearing a face mask is one of the most effective strategies to protect oneself. For long periods of time, several countries have been in lockdown. As the world returns to normalcy, wearing a mask in public places might be crucial. Manually monitoring the mob would be challenging. So, we devised a way for determining whether or not a person in the crowd is wearing a mask. The proposed framework can detect masks and face shields with an accuracy of 95.7%. © 2021 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

Since April 2018, insurgent groups (antigovernment elements) have imposed bans on house-to-house vaccination. In September 2019, vaccination campaigns were restarted in areas under insurgency control only at health facilities. During March-June 2020, all campaigns were paused because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This report describes polio eradication activities and progress in Afghanistan during January 2019-July 2020 and updates previous reports.

ABSTRACT

Mobile is a rapidly growing web environment that attracts malware developers around the world. Smart phones, especially android phones are widely used and are the most popular new target for malware attacks. Most common type of malware found to attack android users was an unauthorized app repackaged as a normal app through a third party, unofficial app store. New apps found in the app store are hard to identify as malicious. Our work develops a malware detector and analyzer. This paper also links insights about malware attacks in COVID-19 on mobile devices. To meet the objectives, a model is implemented that extracts the inherent features of android application file and analyzes them for quick and accurate analysis. The model classifies the apps more accurately as benign or malicious. © 2020 IEEE.
